Edgemere is a great place where the staff are kind and attentive and truly care. The community is clean, welcoming, and full of life with great food, activities, and a real sense of belonging. Residents are very well taken care of, with attentive dining staff, a wide variety of excellent options, and an amazing Sunday brunch. The facility is beautiful and upscale, with high-end apartments. The staff care about each other and the residents, creating a positive and supportive community. Holly, Layla, and Jaime are exceptional employees who are always helpful. Edgemere has excellent staff support from a cheerful and accomplished crew, and chef-prepared meals are delicious. They never should have taken on another patient if they were unable to provide necessary care for the patients they already had admitted. Absolutely negligent. Hours to respond to her call light when she called out for something to eat or her diaper changed when she was wet. 9 hours between diaper changes, her bed soaked with urine, when she requested at the 4 hour mark to be changed. This happened on multiple occasions. They continued with her therapy in a wet diaper that was so heavy it weighed down to her knees. Nursing seemed overworked and understaffed. Nursing ratios seemed unsafe to meet even basic care standards. The parking is terrible, they save the front parking for rents, with very limited handicap parking.
