The staff are nice, very helpful, and true professionals. The staff are fantastic and the food is outstanding. Marcia Blinn goes above and beyond for her clients and is always there day or night, a loving and kind soul. New Start Recovery Systems is a beautiful facility with a clean, modern environment, awesome staff, and happy patients. Marci Blinn is a fantastic community partner who is very responsive and helpful to those in need. The Reno location is well staffed, clean, welcoming, and provides 24-hour nursing care. The on-site chef prepares daily menus and the snacks and coffee are delicious. The wellness curriculum and therapy offerings show they truly care, and the setting is culturally competent and warm. Marcia is phenomenal and goes above and beyond to meet the needs of military personnel and veterans. The rehab therapy at Sierra Ridge is phenomenal and the nursing staff is magnificent.
The food is not great. The meals are not consistently good; the reviewer would not want to eat them at times. Their communication is not that great. The nurses do not tell her what medications they are giving and they are not vocal about what she is taking. They are short-staffed. There was one lady who was kind of mean. No one has updated the reviewer about her status.
