The care at Good Samaritan was outstanding from the Director to the cleaning crew. Any issues were addressed immediately and resolved quickly. Good Samaritan exceeded rumors and delivered excellent care. The staff are caring and provide quality, home-like care. The Alzheimer's Unit with the BBET program is amazing. Residents, including the mother and great-grandmother, enjoy their time there.For almost two and a half years, my dad called Good Samaritan home, and though he has recently passed away, the care he received there remains a lasting testament to what a dedicated team can do. The experience was more than just attentive nursing care; it was a comprehensive level of support that made the toughest days easier for him and for those of us who stood by him. Knowing he was where he was supposed to be brought a sense of relief that words can hardly capture, especially at a time when every decision felt weighty and personal.
From the Director all the way down to the cleaning crew, the staff stood out as outstanding in every sense. The care they provided wasn't just professional; it was consistently compassionate, proactive, and respectful. When issues did arise - which, by honorably low measure, were few - they were addressed immediately and resolved quickly. That ability to act fast and with care helped us stay focused on supporting our loved one rather than being overwhelmed by problems, and it left a lasting impression on our family.
There was a cloud of concern before admission, fueled by stories we'd heard about the facility. Yet those stories proved unfounded for us. Everyone was totally wrong about Good Samaritan. In reality, the care and culture there were nothing short of exemplary, and they proved to be a steady source of stability and reassurance during a challenging journey. The contrast between expectation and reality couldn't have been starker in a more reassuring way.
I am grateful beyond measure for the many people who had contact with my dad. I know the care they provided was one less thing to stress about during a difficult time because he was in great hands. I can never thank the staff enough for what they did for him; they are, quite simply, the BEST!!!
