Sammy is excellent to work with. Legend Memory Care at Rivendell provides exceptional service and a super friendly staff. Legend Memory Care at Rivendell is a place that truly cares for its residents. The memory care concept here is designed with intention and care for those with Alzheimer's and dementia. CNA staff were outstanding, and the nursing supervisor was amazing. Greg Hendrix is dedicated to his residents and brings warmth to their care. The staff at Legend Memory Care at Rivendell are kind, caring, and attentive to residents and their families. The facility is beautiful, exceptionally clean, and well maintained. The staff are responsive, friendly, and treat residents with dignity and respect. The life-enrichment team provides meaningful engagement and enhances residents' quality of life.
Two stars because some (heavy emphasis on 'some') of the staff is kind and helpful. After that care was shady. They moved her without saying it was going to cost more. They are saying we owed things from room charges (they moved her without saying it was going to cost more and Greg said they'd make it the same as it was) and other extra fees that we didn't know were accruing. Calls and emails to the corporate office with issues were ignored. Too many "agency" people working or filling in. That's fine, but these temporary workers were clueless of the needs of each resident. Legend is one of the most expensive Memory Care facilities in the area and at a time that many of their long time employees were quitting, leaving the facility short staffed, they raised the rent substantially two times in two months. Handling of the Covid outbreak within the facility was between poor and nonexistent.Legend at Rivendell Memory Care is best suited for families seeking a dementia-focused, highly personalized living environment in Oklahoma City where residents are treated like family and daily life is anchored by structure, security, and engaging activities.
