We could not have asked for a better place for our mom. From the moment we first visited, it was clear that the owners - Sara and Mike - are truly amazing. The staff are caring and kind, and the space itself is beautiful. They had space available at just the right time for us, and that timing made a huge difference when we needed support most. The overall impression was one of warmth, competence, and a genuine dedication to the well-being of every resident.
The owners live on site, and that makes all the difference. They are incredibly responsive, caring, honest, and dependable caretakers who run a well-organized, clean, bright, and airy home. It is consistently well maintained, and it feels welcoming in a way that few places do. The environment is not only attractive but thoughtfully arranged to meet residents' needs, which gave us immediate confidence about leaving our mom there.
Our mom has resided with SFH for over a year, and during that time we've come to value how Sara, Mike, and their staff treat every resident as if they were part of their own family. We initially visited four other adult family homes before deciding on this one, and we are incredibly grateful that we chose SFH. The sense of care and contentment our mom shows is a testament to the commitment and character of the people who run the home.
I was blessed when another connected family referred us to Sara and Mike, and I have been extremely happy with the care and progress I see every time I visit. Honestly, I rarely write reviews, but if you are looking for a fantastic home for a loved one where you can be sure they will be cared for and content, you have found the best place for them to be. The atmosphere is consistently positive, and the care reflects a deep, ongoing effort to meet each resident's needs.
I very much regret not putting my mom in Sara's and Mike's care a lot sooner, because she thrived under their guidance from day one. They are informed caregivers who work closely with each resident's doctor on nearly a daily basis, staying vigilant about every need and always embracing residents as part of their family. Sara provides home-cooked meals tailored to each resident's preferences, and the home itself is immaculate and arranged to support residents of all abilities. Above all, it's a home filled with love.
Mike and Sara truly go above and beyond caring for their residents. I have a client with very fragile health who lives in their home and requires a great deal of care and observation. I trust them implicitly to communicate with me whenever something changes with his diet or medical status. Mike provides all transportation to and from the doctor, urgent care, and anything else my client requires, while Sara prepares healthy home-cooked meals in addition to their comprehensive caregiving. Thank you, Mike and Sara, for taking such good care of Mr. S.T. I will not hesitate to refer people to you in the future.
We are so pleased to have our father in this home. Sara and Mike give excellent care, and the home itself is extremely clean with a warm, homey feeling that immediately puts visitors and residents at ease. The combination of meticulous attention to cleanliness, compassionate staff, and a genuinely affectionate atmosphere makes SFH a standout choice for families seeking dependable, personalized care for their loved ones. In every visit, we sense that our father is not just cared for, but cherished as part of a family that truly values his comfort, dignity, and happiness.
