Review

Working at Right at Home has been a revelation for me. After spending 28 years as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), constantly rushing and hurrying through each day, I have finally found a place where I can truly enjoy my work. Here, I have the time to listen to my clients' stories and genuinely connect with them. It feels like home.

I've always believed that every individual deserves to be treated with care and respect, but unfortunately, the fast-paced nature of the healthcare industry often makes it challenging to really take the time to do so. However, since joining Right at Home, I have discovered a new way of providing care that aligns perfectly with my values.

One of the aspects that stands out most about working here is the freedom and flexibility I have in spending quality time with my clients. No longer tied down by overwhelming schedules or administrative tasks, I can now focus solely on building meaningful relationships with those under my care. Whether it's engaging in heartfelt conversations or simply sitting quietly while they share their life experiences, this job allows me to truly be present.

With 28 years of experience as an LPN, I am no stranger to the challenges and demands of caregiving. But working at Right at Home has taught me that taking your time is crucial when it comes to building trust and rapport with clients. Rushing through their needs not only undermines their sense of dignity but also deprives me of the opportunity to appreciate their unique stories – stories that deserve to be heard.

Right at Home has become my second home because it embodies the principles that should guide every caregiver-patient relationship: compassion, empathy, and dedication. Every client here is treated as an individual rather than just another task on our list for the day. This person-centered approach allows us to provide care tailored specifically to their needs and preferences.

As an LPN who has dedicated nearly three decades of her life to this profession, finding a workplace that values taking the time to truly care for clients has been a game-changer. Right at Home has given me the opportunity to finally practice caregiving in the way it was meant to be – with patience, attentiveness, and genuine love for each client's unique story.

In conclusion, my experience at Right at Home has reaffirmed my belief that every individual deserves to be treated with care and respect. By providing caregivers like myself with the time and freedom to connect deeply with our clients, this organization sets itself apart from others in the industry. I am grateful to have found my home here, where I can embrace the true essence of caregiving – listening to and cherishing each person's story, one moment at a time.
