Residents are very pleased with the facility after almost three years of stay. The new director is making positive changes. The Activities Director has organized a fantastic activities program, and friendly residents help make things better. The community has a strong Resident Council and is well run, family-oriented, and fun. The director is very caring and puts the residents first. Jim, the new administrator, is amazing, as are many of the other staff.
It is the worst assisted living in Washington State, with very poor care, very poor customer service, and very poor meals. Rose at the front desk is extremely incompetent and unprofessional, delivering rude service and providing no information. The staff are very rude and cold toward visitors, and the facility has high turnover with residents leaving due to harsh treatment. The facility cannot be trusted to take care of loved ones; meals aren't checked and medications have been left in residents' rooms, with unqualified new staff hired. There was a bed bug infestation that management failed to disclose until the state became involved, and the pests crawled on residents. There is severe understaffing (one caregiver for 70+ residents) and bed bug problems are out of control.
