    Review

The Parks Senior Living is a small community that my mom recently moved into, and it has proven to be a fantastic choice for her. One of the standout features of this facility is its long-time employees who genuinely care for the residents. The value at The Parks Senior Living is excellent, as it offers a lot more space compared to other options. The people are also great, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere that has made my mom very happy.

The facilities at The Parks Senior Living have been updated and are very well taken care of. They provide various activities daily to keep the residents engaged and entertained. From playing bingo to participating in exercise classes and pet therapy sessions, there is always something exciting happening. Additionally, they offer crafts for those who enjoy being creative. A new addition that the residents can soon look forward to is a country store that they can visit at any time.

Another option we explored was Parks Methodist's homes, which provide individual housing, duplex housing, and apartments connected in one big building. Although all the apartments were already rented out during our visit, their homes were reasonably priced for purchase. However, the cost of $2,000 per month for groundskeeping and repairs deterred my mother from considering this option further. Nonetheless, these homes were beautiful and clean, with new carpeting and repainted walls when someone moves out.

Parks Methodist Homes takes pride in fostering neighborly relationships among its residents by encouraging participation in various activities listed on their monthly calendar. While I didn't have the opportunity to explore their game options during my visit, their gated community comprises duplexes with some single homes available as well – all designed with drive-in garages for convenient access.

Amongst the nursing homes we considered, Parks Methodist stood out as a pretty good facility for my mom's needs. Her doctor also had a positive attitude towards this place, which influenced our decision to choose it for her care. Since she has moved there in July, we have been impressed with the cleanliness and lack of odor at the facility. The staff members have been honest and dependable, including the nursing staff who have provided exceptional care. The physical therapist and his aides are professional and work well with the patients.

My mom has a private room at Parks Methodist, for which we pay a little extra. It is equipped with essential furniture, a television, and its own bathroom facility. The availability of an emergency call light adds to her safety and peace of mind. Although the food may not be exactly like home-cooked meals, it is reasonably good, offering two options daily. My mom manages to adapt to their offerings and is doing well with it. Additionally, the facility maintains good food sanitation practices.

In conclusion, whether you're considering The Parks Senior Living or Parks Methodist Homes for yourself or your loved ones, both facilities offer clean and well-maintained environments with caring staff members. From engaging activities to private rooms and convenient amenities, they provide comfortable living arrangements for seniors. Your experience with either facility is likely to be positive while ensuring your loved one receives quality care in a safe environment.
