The everyday caregivers were very nice. Crystal Creek at Preston Hollow was very friendly. The facility was nice and spotless. Our loved one has made the transition to assisted living well in this elegant, clean, friendly, and safe environment. The admissions manager is fabulous and has been able to continue to follow up with my loved one and their care. Most of the staff that comes in are perfect. The nursing staff went out of their way to support our Mom and she loved the activities. The food is excellent at Crystal Creek at Preston Hollow. Everyone here seems to love their job, they're all very positive and provide exactly the help we need. My mother loves the caregivers and has met so many friends because the activities team works to get residents involved.
The administration were unhelpful, unsupportive and clearly cared about filling the rooms, but lacked support once those rooms were filled. The lobby was very busy, which didn't give a good first impression. Crystal Creek didn't have the level of service that met the needs of one individual. The activities at Crystal Creek were not as active as other places. There was constant flux in care staff, resulting in being always short-staffed and an unattended front desk with unanswered phones. The assistant living director position at Crystal Creek was continually changing or left unfilled. Clients at Crystal Creek never attended activities because no one reminded, encouraged, or prompted them when it was time. There were no creative programs to meet the needs across interests at Crystal Creek. The dining room food at Crystal Creek was marginal and often arrived cold.
