The atmosphere at Dogwood Pointe was very happy and there were a lot of activities. The administrator was wonderful to the residents and their families. Celebrating birthdays and other occasions at Dogwood Pointe was a wonderful experience. The accommodations were good and the activities were excellent. The care given at Dogwood Pointe was marvelous, with daily activities, home cooked meals, and individual attention. The staff at Dogwood Pointe took care of residents with love and concern. Melissa, the administrator, had compassion for older people and understood the emotional turmoil families go through when caring for aging parents. All the staff members at Dogwood Pointe introduced themselves and made residents feel welcome. Moving to Dogwood Pointe helped meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of one resident's mother. The reviewer expressed heartfelt gratitude to Melissa and the entire Dogwood Pointe family for making their loved one feel truly at home again.
The food started out to be really good, but then, towards the end, their main cook quit and the food was not good. They had trouble finding somebody to replace the main cook at Dogwood Pointe.
