Review

A loved one's experience at a certain facility was less than ideal, as they had a troublesome encounter during their short six-day stay. The unsettling incident unfolded when my loved one managed to evade the facility and went missing for several hours before being located again. The lack of security and supervision within the premises raised concerns about the safety of the residents. Furthermore, the facility itself seemed poorly equipped with only one exit leading to the outside, which remained unlocked throughout the day.

Situated in an unfavorable part of town, this particular location failed to meet expectations. Although the staff members were friendly and accommodating, the facilities themselves were cluttered and small. The hallways proved to be an obstacle for wheelchair users due to their narrow width, making maneuvering a challenge. Even individuals utilizing a walker or larger cane would find it exceedingly difficult to navigate through tight corners and doorways.

One aspect that raised significant alarm was the presence of emergency exit doors positioned in close proximity to beds, rendering them practically useless in case of an emergency. This lack of careful planning and consideration for residents' safety is deeply disconcerting and left much to be desired.

On a more positive note, it should be noted that individuals without mobility issues may not face as many setbacks in this facility. For those who do not require additional assistance or have any physical limitations, it may suffice as an adequate living arrangement. However, considering its shortcomings regarding accessibility and safety measures, it is challenging to recommend this place wholeheartedly.

The main facility, where I was initially supposed to go instead of this location, appeared more promising overall. While similar concerns regarding cluttered spaces persisted, there was greater room for movement within corridors—although still limited when using assistive devices such as wheelchairs or walkers. Staff members demonstrated kindness and attentiveness, which offered some reassurance amidst these physical constraints.

In summary, it is clear that both locations present varying drawbacks for potential residents. The first facility's lack of security, including an unlocked door leading to the outside and insufficient staffing levels, raises significant concerns about safety and supervision. Similarly, the second facility's cramped layout and poorly designed emergency exits pose potential risks for individuals with mobility issues. Despite the friendly staff members at both locations, the overall experiences outlined in these reviews highlight serious drawbacks that affect their suitability for long-term residency.
