I first met Deborah, the owner, back in 2004 when my mother needed someone to come to our home a few hours a week to sit with my father so my mother could get out for a little while. I never imagined that in October 2019 I would be reaching out to Deborah again for help with my mother. The people I worked with over the years - Kim, Tara, and Kia - were always more than just staff; they consistently went beyond the call of duty. They were there for me at any hour of the day or night, making sure my mother was well cared for. A special thank-you goes to Kim, her caregiver, who was with my mother five days a week. She truly was an angel. Joyce always prioritized Kim, and their teamwork made a difficult situation much more manageable. I cannot thank Kim enough for the care she provided.
Things changed when my mother could no longer live alone. I went immediately to Deborah, the owner of Chantilly Care Home at Riverstone, where my mother became a resident. If you are in need of home care or a care home for a loved one, I cannot say enough good things about either facility. The experiences with Deborah and her team - along with Kim, Tara, Kia, and Joyce - were a steady source of comfort during a challenging transition. My gratitude extends to all the women who played a part in my mother's care; there were others I did not name who also offered kind and reliable support.
In parallel with Chantilly, Stay At Home Senior Care delivered a level of reassurance that was deeply meaningful. Stay At Home Senior Care is the BEST, and the caregivers who cared for our 87-year-old mother gave us real peace of mind. Kia, the scheduler and main point of contact, always had the right attitude. If we needed to change a date or a time, she accommodated us without making us feel like a nuisance. During the Christmas season, when we were out of town, the caregivers were outstanding. When we checked in, our mother was happy, content, and well cared for, and the house looked as if we hadn't been away for six days.
The options for respite care and in-home support from Stay At Home made caring for my mother in her later years so much easier. They were, in my view, an essential lifeline for families trying to balance caregiving with other responsibilities. Stay At Home Senior Care is truly the best for families seeking reliable in-home support that respects the dignity of an aging loved one while giving caregivers the freedom to take a needed break.
Stay At Home Services also played a crucial role for us. My mother, now 89, can no longer drive, and Stay At Home Services has been a genuine lifesaver. Lisa, with Stay At Home Services, has taken my mother to get her NC ID card, to the dentist, to shopping, to the bank, and wherever else my mother needs to go. They also go out to lunch together, which my mother enjoys. Lisa comes in once a week, and my mother loves her like a second daughter. There have been a few times when Lisa wasn't available, and Stay At Home Services sent someone else from their company; they were always nice, and I trusted them completely.
In sum, the combination of Chantilly Care Home at Riverstone and Stay At Home Senior Care and Stay At Home Services has made a profound difference in our lives. The dedication and compassion of Deborah, Kim, Tara, Kia, Joyce, Lisa, and the rest of the teams have provided not only excellent care for my mother but also much-needed peace of mind for our entire family. If you ever find yourself in a situation where a loved one needs in-home support or a caring, reputable care home, these teams come with my highest recommendation. Stay At Home Senior Care and Chantilly Care Home at Riverstone are truly outstanding, and I remain deeply grateful for the care they provided over the years.
