Bright Side Manor was not good. It was a dark, dingy, and a very tight place. The place needed an overhaul. I am not pleased with my move to this community. The atmosphere is very slow pace. There aren't many activities available. This is not a community for someone who is active. Accommodations are not what we are looking for. Very dated facility. I don't feel this is the right fit for me, and my needs overall. The staffs are indifferent at best and abusive and neglectful at worst in other assisted living places compared to Bright Side Manor's caring staff.Bright Side Manor, located in Bergen County, is a friendly and reasonably priced assisted living community that accepts Medicaid.
