They truly want the residents to feel like they are at home. The staff were very interested in making people feel comfortable. The meals were tasty and well balanced. Residents enjoyed helping prepare dinners. The facility has a very homey atmosphere. The facility offered a nice program for outings. The facility is recommended for respite stays. It is also considered a great place to live. A Place for Mom was very helpful, and they found a wonderful assisted living house. Petra and the staff were wonderful. The father was comfortable and happy. Gail was very helpful in finding another home quickly. The place is a private residence, very nice and clean. Premier is well-liked. The home is beautiful and the food is homemade.
The owner gave some of his mother's medication to calm her down. There is only one nurse for all five places. The head worker is mean, lies, and does not care about anyone else's property but hers. The head worker took the mother's cell phone and locked it in a cabinet. They started giving her meds for schizophrenia which she did not have, and couldn't understand why she was acting up. When the mother refused it, the head woman, who is only a caregiver, not an RN, let it dissolve in her coffee. The owner stole money by making them pay three months upfront when only two were supposed to be paid. After they received the check, the owner refused to pay back and still owes money. They kicked the mother out because she was going crazy with meds she didn't need. They never got their deposit back. They banned the mother and the reviewer from visiting.
