The Haven community is very clean, and the staff members are super friendly. The care services are good and the food was great, our loved one really enjoyed all of the meals. Staff was always courteous and helpful. All in all, my experience with The Haven was more like a 2nd home or a hotel than an old folks home and I wasn't the only one who made that comment. Haven at Windermere was not my favorite... but it has a nice reputation. The Haven at Windermere is very clean and very professional... Everything is excellent -- the meal, the staff, the residents, the facility -- everything is great. My husband is in The Haven... The owners of the facility have run it into the ground, causing misery for residents and staff. Lack of activities and poor quality food at the facility. Residents are not receiving the care they are promised or paying for. The rooms at the facility lack privacy and have certain design flaws. Some residents at the facility can be unwelcoming or exclusive towards newcomers. Upper management cuts corners and mistreats residents, family members, and employees.The Haven community is a clean and friendly facility that offers good care services and great food. Many residents appreciate the value for cost that they receive at this facility. The staff members are commended for their professionalism and caring nature, making the residents feel at home.
