Residents seem friendly but are unhappy with the management. This place is unkempt and unhealthy for the residents. Ventilation systems have not worked for at least two years. For almost six years I've called this place home, and I've grown to appreciate the overall safety it affords. The surroundings feel secure, and when something needs attention, maintenance crews respond quickly, which makes day-to-day life here smoother. The office staff are generally helpful in their dealings, and for someone who values independence, the layout of a comfortable one-bedroom apartment fits the bill nicely. It's easy to settle into a routine that respects personal space while still providing access to the supports that make aging in place feasible.

Yet there's a recurring undercurrent: many residents - myself included - are less than thrilled with the management team.
