The staff is friendly and professional. The location is excellent. There are a lot of activities for residents. The facility is clean and well run. There is a nicely appointed fitness center with a full-time fitness instructor. The jazz band rehearses here on Monday nights every other week. The staff is wonderful, helpful, and kind to residents. Residents are friendly.
The facility is extremely outdated and infested with roaches. The building is infested with German roaches and bedbugs and needs to be tented to eradicate. Bedbugs are very hard to eliminate once they infest the building. The only weapon of choice seems to be dangerous insecticides sprayed around an elderly population. Residents were not evacuated during fogging and were told to stay away for only a few hours. The chemicals used were unsafe to breathe for seniors. The apartment was crawling with roaches and bedbugs, which was horrifying.
