Review

Lakeview Manor Assisted Living Facility is a place that offers spacious and comfortable rooms, as well as a friendly and helpful staff. Upon visiting the facility, it was evident that the residents were content and happy with their surroundings. One resident even expressed his happiness at being there. The cleanliness of the facility was also commendable, and there was a patio area and a nearby lake for residents to enjoy.

However, it must be noted that Lakeview Manor is a converted house, which means that some areas may not be properly designed for assisted living needs. For individuals requiring more assistance than my father, this may not be an issue as they might not notice or mind such shortcomings. Some residents were observed sitting quietly without much engagement, though they seemed content. However, for someone like my dad who enjoys talking about sports, he may prefer a place with more social interactions.

On another note, one reviewer shared their mother-in-law's positive experience during her 7-month stay at Lakeview Manor. Despite being diagnosed with OCPD and requiring oxygen support, she found joy in the facility's vibrant atmosphere. The rooms were filled with light and colorful paintings while the staff wore warm smiles and greeted everyone they passed by.

During our visit for researching purposes, we noticed that the outside area was well-maintained and provided ample opportunities for residents to walk around safely. The foyer exuded freshness with its bright decor and furnishings. Each room boasted lovely decorations and furniture with plentiful fresh air and natural light throughout the building.

Communal activity rooms offered spacious areas where seniors could socialize, engage in crafts or games, watch TV or films, and participate in various stimulating activities. All levels of ambulation were accommodated in private rooms designed with tasteful decor and ample space.

The dining room had plenty of space to comfortably enjoy meals that looked and smelled delicious. The menu offered healthy food options catering to different diets, alongside readily available snacks throughout the day and evening.

Residents were encouraged to stay active with access to an exercise room, daily walks, as well as aerobics and yoga classes. Additionally, they had opportunities for outings to art galleries, museums, restaurants, and cultural events in the area.

Overall, Lakeview Manor Assisted Living Facility appeared to provide a caring and considerate environment for its residents. The staff's kindness was evident in their interactions with the residents who appeared well-cared for. While there may be some limitations due to the converted setting of the house, it seems like a pleasant place for individuals seeking assisted living options.
