Assured is doing an excellent job caring for the father. They are very communicative and helpful and treat the father well. The caregivers are sweet and professional and really do take good care of the mother. Serenity House V staff keep the family well informed. The residents at Serenity House V are more animated and talkative, which is beneficial for the mother. Rosena, a caregiver there, is simply very sweet. The facility provides more personalized care because it is smaller.
It went downhill after Assured bought the company from Serenity Homes ALF. The management and administration were horrible at communicating. On a care plan Zoom call, one of the executive directors was downright rude to the entire family. There has been a huge turnover in staffing since Assured took over. No one wanted to stay and be treated so horribly by the senior management. There are much better assisted living and memory care facilities available.
