When it comes to finding the perfect residential care facility for a loved one, location is a key consideration. That's why I chose Yokam's RCFE for my father. Its convenient location made it easily accessible for visits and ensured that he would be surrounded by familiar surroundings. The community itself had an older crowd in an older setting, which I believed would be a better fit for my dad. It exuded a homely and cozy atmosphere, making it feel like a true home away from home.

One aspect of Yokam's RCFE that stood out to me was their excellent communication. The staff went above and beyond to keep me informed of any changes or concerns through texts, phone calls, or emails. This proactive approach reassured me that my dad was in good hands and that I didn't have to wait anxiously for updates. Even during the uncertain times brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic, their consistent communication continued to put my mind at ease.

Although I wasn't able to fully utilize the outdoor areas due to restrictions imposed by Covid-19, Yokam's RCFE still managed to provide a pleasant outdoor experience within the limitations. The side of the house where my dad resided had a lovely patio setting that allowed him to enjoy some fresh air and sunlight. Additionally, they had a beautiful backyard with small decks where families could gather and spend quality time together. This commitment to creating inviting spaces demonstrated their understanding of the importance of fostering connections between residents and their loved ones.

Moving on to Zeny's Residential Care Facility, this community left quite an impression on us with its beauty and cleanliness. From the moment we stepped foot inside, it was evident that great care was taken in maintaining an aesthetically pleasing environment for residents. The staff members were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to answer all of our questions thoroughly. However, despite our positive experience with Zeny's Residential Care Facility, we ended up choosing another community that better aligned with our budgetary constraints.

In conclusion, both Yokam's RCFE and Zeny's Residential Care Facility offered unique advantages. Yokam's RCFE appealed to me due to its convenient location, older crowd, and homely atmosphere. The exceptional communication from the staff ensured that I was always informed about my father's well-being. Although Covid-19 limited access to the outdoor areas, they made the most out of the situation by providing a cozy patio setting and lovely backyard decks for family visits. On the other hand, Zeny's Residential Care Facility impressed us with its cleanliness and beautiful surroundings. The friendly staff were attentive to our inquiries. Ultimately, while we opted for a different community based on financial considerations, I would still highly recommend both Yokam's RCFE and Zeny's Residential Care Facility to anyone in search of an inviting and caring environment for their loved ones.
