Review
When I arrived at this place, I had high hopes that it would be the perfect home for my loved one. However, upon stepping inside, I couldn't help but notice that the caregivers and workers seemed to have English slang in their conversations. It made me question their professionalism and ability to provide proper care. As I looked around, it became clear that the cleanliness of the facility was subpar. Some areas were being cleaned, but it was evident that maintaining a clean environment was a challenge.
Feeling a bit unsettled, I decided to approach one of the staff members named Priscilla to address my concerns. She tried her best to make me feel comfortable but constantly redirected the conversation towards rates and prices. The prices seemed a little steep, especially when considering the additional deposit required. This made me skeptical about whether or not this was truly the right place for my loved one.
In another visit to a different care home, I faced further disappointment. Upon arrival, I inquired about a specific caregiver who was supposed to be on duty but was informed she wasn't present at the moment. This lack of responsiveness immediately raised red flags for me. As I walked through the facility hoping to find someone who could assist me further, it became apparent that this place was not up to par.
The atmosphere inside felt old and worn out, which did not match my expectations based on the outward appearance of the building. To add insult to injury, when I eventually located an office space, it was unoccupied and deserted as if no one really cared about attending to visitors' needs promptly. The overall cleanliness of the place also left much to be desired – there were unpleasant odors lingering in the air and visible signs of neglect.
Based on my experiences with these two care homes so far, I cannot wholeheartedly recommend either establishment for anyone's beloved family members. While some individuals provided helpful information during my visits, their input could not overshadow the glaring issues that these places exhibited. Stricter standards and improvements in the building and grounds are necessary to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents. Additionally, the lack of activities and responsiveness within these care homes left me concerned about the quality of life that tenants would experience.
Choosing a care home for a loved one is an incredibly important decision, as it directly impacts their well-being and happiness. It is crucial to thoroughly assess each potential facility to ensure they meet the necessary standards for cleanliness, professionalism, and overall quality of care.
