Most of the staff is very friendly. There was a very nice social worker and nice, patient physical therapists. The permanent people were active and you could tell they were loved! They are awesome!! All the nurses, and aides were professional, kind and dedicated. They listened to their patients! They treated a person like you were the most important human ever! Alyssa came into work above and beyond and should get a raise for this. The cleaning people were always on guard for Covid guidelines. The cooks worked hard and most did appreciate their meals. Greg is a very kind man and always fixed something or helped with any role there is in the place. The offices came and interchanged their role, by filling in the help and keep things nice and smooth ... with a smile. The entire staff from the business office, admissions, director of nursing and all the healthcare providers are always helpful and informative. They are so kind, understandable and professional.
The entrance is filthy and uninviting and usually cluttered with boxes and garbage. The interior and exterior of the building are dirty and in need of painting and cleaning. It is a terrible place for elderly sick people. Uncaring CNAs left residents uncared for and unwashed, with some wearing the same clothes for days. A nurse aide told a resident to pick up his own legs because they were too heavy for her. A head nurse yelled at a resident and suggested going home to die. A shaver was stolen on the second day. It took a long time for staff to respond to needs, even with a light left on for assistance.
