Afton Oaks is a very friendly and caring environment. The staff are friendly, helpful, and extremely professional. The admissions team, including Ms. Cook, provided excellent customer service. Te'lorr Cook is fabulous, kind, and proactive in answering questions and guiding the process. Shemeka in medical records provided stupendous service and ensured concerns were met. Management and administration are responsive to residents' needs. Renovations and leadership changes have improved the care and atmosphere. The in-house dialysis center is amazing and reflects comprehensive care. The DON personally visited and cared for the resident, showing hands-on concern. The facility is clean and well maintained, with staff and residents described as welcoming.
The staff are neglectful and fail to provide the care promised to residents. The negligence and sloppiness of the nurses have caused medical issues for residents.
