Sonia is very good at doing and returning laundry. Sierra Williams stood out for going above and beyond to take care of residents as if they were family. The care at the facility has been excellent, and the majority of the staff are very caring and helpful. Towne Manor West is tops; the staff is well organized, the food is good, and the care is excellent. There is genuine care, professionalism, warmth, and a family environment from the staff. Town Manor West has been a very nice surprise; the staff makes the difference. The nurses and CNAs are friendly and competent and know the patients. The therapy department has a very good team. Loved ones are treated well. The facility is clean. The food service is surprisingly good.
The parking lot is in extreme need of repairs. The food served isn't the greatest and is often out of stock, with sandwiches served instead of items on the menu. Sometimes food is served burnt. They are constantly out of body wash for patients and just shower them with water. Brand new patient clothing sent to laundry disappears, and clothing isn't reliably inventoried. Laundry staff sometimes deliver patients' laundry to the wrong rooms despite labeling. Medications aren't given on time, and some patients receive two doses at once. Non-employees can enter through a side door, creating security concerns. Some workers are there just for the paycheck and don't actually work. The facility was renamed to Onyx Wellness from Towne Manor, but the same problems persist. The dining room never has enough chairs, and patients' rooms lack chairs for visitors.
