The staff at Corning Center took terrific care of her sister; everyone was kind and caring. The nurses were kind and the CNA Chaz was amazing. The recreation director is amazing. The financial person is very humane and lovely. The rehab department is great; the staff are very helpful, and the leadership are always there to lend a hand. The place was clean and the staff were friendly. The facility is exceptional; staff and management are dedicated to giving their best for residents. The kindest care can be found there. The service provided during recovery was excellent. The Corning Center staff is remarkable; special praise to Shannon, Randy, Cindy, Darlene, and Kristin.
The staff were incredibly abusive to residents' grandmothers. The facility is horrible. Wound care was neglected and a patient was left in a wheelchair. Staff told the family the patient wouldn't walk or use the bathroom. The facility makes it hard to reach them and does not answer calls. It is a place you'd send a parent if you hated them and wanted them to die. Residents were severely malnourished and disoriented. A staff member rarely referred to a resident by name; residents were found filthy and in their own waste. Residents were left in their own waste for hours.
