The facility is impressive and very clean. All the staff are amiable and sweet, and they take excellent care of residents. It is a great place with amazing staff. It is a good place with many friendly nurses and CNAs. The staff are truly unique and highly recommended.
The place is a joke, and the reviewer would give it zero stars if possible. It is described as a snake pit where residents are unkempt, sit in dirty diapers, and rooms are dirty; progress reports are rare and there is no participation in interdisciplinary meetings; staff are unresponsive, uncaring, and unfriendly; the LTC ombudsman should be ashamed of their oversight. The first visit was extremely unprofessional for a loved one, with a horrible cigarette smell, dirty areas inside and out, pandering young staff, constant alarms, and younger staff being rude; the reviewer would have filed a complaint and wouldn't recommend the facility. The facility reportedly had no AC, terrible staff, flies on food, constant cigarette smoke outside the door, a non-working TV, disregard for the diet plan, confiscation of the resident's phone, a bathroom door that wouldn't open, and a day-long wait to get a fan; they advise not to send someone you love there. It took staff 20 minutes to assist after a fall and they did not ask if the resident was injured. The office manager is rude. There are abusive staff and a shared phone reported in 2023. The staff are accused of killing the reviewer's stepdad.
