Review

In recent times, concerns have been raised about the lack of communication between staff and families at a certain facility. Distressingly, since our loved ones moved in, we have not received any updates or messages from the staff regarding their well-being or daily activities. The situation has become even more disheartening as the new Case Manager assigned to our loved one has failed to reach out to either the family or the resident since joining the team.

Initially, there seemed to be hope when our loved one first entered this facility. The previous Case Manager took great care in explaining their services and reassuring us about their dedication towards quality care. Regrettably, this individual is no longer with us and his departure seems to have left a void that is yet to be filled. The lack of communication that followed has only added to our growing list of concerns.

One of the promised aspects that attracted us to this facility was their claim of taking residents for walks and outings. Such activities were meant to enhance their quality of life and provide them with opportunities for social engagement. However, it saddens us immensely to report that these promises have not been fulfilled. The staff does not follow through on their commitment, denying residents the chance to experience a change of scenery or enjoy some fresh air outside their living quarters.

With every passing day, it becomes increasingly evident that there is a significant gap in communication within this establishment. Families are left feeling anxious and worried about the well-being of their loved ones who reside there. These concerns could easily be alleviated if regular updates were provided by staff members. Additionally, adequate attention should be given by the newly appointed Case Manager to ensure effective communication channels are established with both families and residents.

For families who entrust their loved ones into the care of such facilities, these experiences can be distressing and disappointing. It is essential for management to recognize these shortcomings and take appropriate action swiftly. Open lines of communication must be established, and staff members should honor the commitments made to residents and their families. A transparent and supportive environment is crucial to building trust and ensuring the well-being of all individuals within the facility.

In conclusion, it is disconcerting to witness a lack of communication between staff and families since our loved ones moved into this facility. The absence of updates and involvement from the new Case Manager has only exacerbated the issue. Furthermore, unfulfilled promises regarding activities such as walks and outings have left residents feeling isolated. It is imperative for management to address these concerns promptly, fostering an environment where open communication thrives, promises are kept, and quality care is provided to all who reside at this facility.
