When we arrived at the property, the person we were supposed to meet was not yet there. Frustrated by the delay, I decided to take matters into my own hands and drove 4.4 miles to a nearby Staples store to print out the application myself. However, just as I was about to complete this task, someone from the property called me and assured me that they would take care of everything if I just came back. So, trusting their words, I returned to the property.

Upon our return, the person in charge showed us around. The property seemed nice and fairly new, with the unit my dad would potentially reside in being unoccupied at the moment. However, as we toured the premises, it became clear that what my dad really needed was a more supportive environment that catered to his specific needs. We required a place where there would be assistance available for him with things like medication management, laundry services, housekeeping, and meals.

Although the price of this particular property seemed affordable, it became evident that cost alone couldn't address our concerns about adequate care for my dad. The place simply wasn't fully set up or equipped to meet his requirements. This raised doubts in our minds regarding whether or not they were board certified or licensed to provide the level of care he needed.
