The staff were wonderful and very kind to residents and their families. Lisa Bennet was very nice during the admission process and put a lot of work into helping families. Robin and her team have gone above and beyond in providing the absolute best care. A wonderful team with a good heart. They not only gave the patient good care, they helped the family as well.
Sherry Ross was god awful to the patients. She forced one lady to have her vitals checked by grabbing her arm and borderline yelling at her, then also grabbing a man trying to force him to stand up. The memory care wing room had peeling paint, no pictures, no decorations, no TV, just two beds that looked very old and honestly looked worse than a prison cell. A woman down the hall yelled "hey" every five seconds; the memory care wing was very loud and dirty. Empress is terribly understaffed and does not fix the building or provide a decent place for residents.
