In searching for a reliable home care service, Covenant was initially chosen by one individual. However, the scheduling proved to be a bit challenging as they were unable to provide many hours at first. Nevertheless, Covenant worked with the individual to accommodate their needs by rotating several caregivers. Eventually, more hours were added and they found an aide that the individual really liked – someone who was professional, personable, and compassionate. Additionally, one of the owners of Covenant stood out for their kindness and attentiveness.

While Covenant did find caregivers for another reviewer, this person would have preferred consistency with having the same individuals assigned to them all the time. Unfortunately, despite their preference and both caregivers expressing a desire to be assigned to this individual, they were not allowed to continue with those specific caregivers. The quality of care varied among different aides – some were excellent while others were not. The communication between Covenant and the caregivers was also lacking at times, causing dissatisfaction for both parties involved. Due to these experiences, this reviewer stated that they would not choose Covenant again but unfortunately lost their loved one before being able to make a change.

The next reviewer employed three caregivers per day – two for a 12-hour day shift and one for a 12-hour night shift – at a rate of $22 per hour. The caregivers themselves received $10 per hour without any benefits included. Despite not having received documentation specifying what the caregiver was supposed to do, this individual expressed satisfaction with their service as their needs in terms of cooking meals and managing kitchen-related tasks were being met adequately.

For another client's mother who required care while they were at work, Senior's Companion provided peace of mind knowing that their mother had someone friendly and helpful around when they couldn't be there themselves. From what the client's mother had shared with them so far, she felt that Senior's Companion did a good job attending to her needs.
