The staff at Aspen Assisted Living has worked very hard to help residents feel at home and keeps families informed about their progress. Kelly is an amazing administrator whom everyone loves, and Debra is a fabulous nurse. The facility has a great staff, is always clean and well maintained, and has a family-like feel. It offers a small, home-like atmosphere with good food and good people.
The staff can be mean and neglectful at times. A former resident claimed that a tablet and $900 were taken after staff entered the room without informing them. A resident was exposed to black mold for over three years and developed related health symptoms. The state of Utah is currently investigating them. The facility treats its employees like dirt and overworks CNAs and kitchen staff. Promises were never followed through. Money is more important than residents.
