    Review

Choosing to place my mom in assisted living was one of the most difficult decisions our family has faced. We started with a facility that proved disastrous, and the heartbreak of that experience lingered. In the midst of that disappointment, we kept searching for a place where she would be seen, safe, and truly cared for. Then we found Larry's Lake House, and everything began to change.

From day one, the owner, the director, and the entire staff welcomed us with warmth and professionalism. It was clear that this was not just a business; it was a community that valued each resident as a person with a story, needs, and dignity. Their approach set a tone that made us feel hopeful for the first time after a bad starting point.

Throughout mom's time there, the love and care she received extended beyond basic assistance. The staff treated her with kindness, attention, and respect, almost as if she were their own family member. This level of compassionate care gave our family much-needed relief, knowing that she was valued and cherished even when we could no longer be the primary caregivers.

Communication was consistent and thoughtful. They kept us informed about my mom's health, progress, and daily well-being, which meant a lot during uncertain times. And they went above and beyond to serve her - anticipating needs, coordinating with healthcare providers, and creating a supportive environment that helped her feel safe and comfortable.

We are deeply grateful for the way her final days were handled. They ensured she was not neglected or brushed aside but was surrounded by care, love, and respect. The environment reflected a sense of peace and dignity, a contrast to the neglect or indifference we had feared after the previous experience.

Even after she passed, the influence of her time at Larry's Lake House lingered. She left a mark on the other residents and staff - an impression of warmth and belonging that made the place feel like a family. They missed her presence, but that absence was a testament to how much she had been accepted and loved within that community.

Given our experience, we highly recommend Larry's Lake House to families seeking a place where a loved one will be cared for with compassion, honesty, and genuine concern. For anyone facing the difficult decision of assisted living, this facility offers a shelter of kindness and a reassuring sense of community that can ease the burden for both residents and their families.
