The staff at Keestone Senior Community are very friendly and attentive to residents. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and smells fresh. The meals at Keestone are good and the dining experience is wonderful. There are plenty of activities for residents to participate in. Keestone provides a pleasant atmosphere and the residents seem happy. The overall value for the money at Keestone is considered to be pretty good by families. The new addition and planned future upgrades make Keestone the finest facility in middle Tennessee. Some families have observed extreme positive changes in their loved ones' behavior since moving to Keestone. The facility has a nice outdoor area and patients have the option to leave with a 30-day notice.
The facility fails to staff, secure, sanitize, etc. the rest of the facility consistently or reliably. One person for the whole facility on weekends makes it easy to walk out and poses a concern for dementia patients and their families. The smell in the hallways is bad enough to make one gag. The security doors are usually unlocked, allowing unrestricted access to the building, including dementia patients. Most nights after around 7pm, no one will answer the phone. The building is not locked and the outdoor area is not secure.
