Very beautiful caring quiet environment Everyone is so nice and friendly and great overall vibe! Great atmosphere with a caring staff. They take very good care of my godmother. Great food available with a professional food service. Residents are friendly and obviously happy to be there! Celeste was very helpful and spent a lot of time with us showing us the facilities and apartments. The staff is great and friendly. Caring staff made moving easy. The DON goes above and beyond to make things work for each patient! The Heritage at Legacy puts resident wants and needs first. They listen to resident's suggestions for activities and meals and work very hard to please everyone who resides there.
They rejected him for assisted living and kept him in memory care, and Heritage has not refunded their down payment after repeated requests. The so-called refundable deposit is not actually refundable. The staff are treated poorly even though the residents are cared for well. It is difficult to contact the staff after 7pm. There were issues with staff and caregivers, raising concerns about suitability for a stroke victim. They are letting another resident stalk a family member, and the staff thinks it’s “cute,” which hints at incompetence. The place looks nice but appears to be a facade hiding incompetence.Heritage at Legacy in Omaha is best suited for seniors who want a warm, people-centered community with a built-in continuum of care on one campus.
