Review

When we first stepped foot into the townhouse, we couldn't help but notice its rather compact size. However, we quickly realized that this would actually work in our favor when it came to cleaning. The smaller space meant less time and effort spent on keeping the place tidy, which was quite appealing.

One of the major advantages of living in this townhouse was undoubtedly the affordable rent. It was refreshing to find a place that fit within our budget without compromising on quality. Additionally, the cost of heat and utilities were surprisingly reasonable, making it even more economical for us in the long run.

It's important to note that these townhomes were not specifically designed for senior living; rather, they are rental properties suitable for anyone seeking comfortable accommodation. This fact appealed to us as it meant being part of a diverse community with neighbors from various walks of life.

One aspect that particularly stood out was the proximity of Mayo Health System to the townhomes. This was especially convenient for us as we were already patients at Mayo. Having world-class healthcare services just a stone's throw away provided peace of mind and easy access to medical care whenever needed.

The layout of the townhome community is well thought out with clusters of homes creating pleasant courtyards in some areas, while others offer small paved spaces. These outdoor spaces add an element of charm to the overall environment and provide opportunities for relaxation or socializing with neighbors.

Although we thoroughly enjoyed our time at this place, the only downside for us was adjusting to downsizing from a spacious three-bedroom, two-story house we had called home for 45 years. Adapting to a smaller living space required some initial acclimation, but over time it became easier as we gradually settled into our new surroundings.

In conclusion, despite its small size compared to what we were used to, this townhouse offered numerous advantages that outweighed any drawbacks. The affordability of rent along with reasonable utility costs made it an attractive option for those seeking a comfortable and budget-friendly living arrangement. The close proximity to Mayo Health System was an added convenience, and the well-designed townhome community with its charming outdoor spaces created a pleasant atmosphere. While downsizing was initially challenging after decades in a larger home, we ultimately found that the benefits of this rental property far surpassed any reservations we had about its size.
