The staff at McCrite are amazing and do everything they can to create a thriving environment of care, comfort, and community. The McCrite campus is beautiful, with comfortable living spaces and people who truly care. McCrite is wonderful. Debbie Johnson participates in cardio drumming at McCrite Independent Living, bringing fun activities to residents. The employees are great, the food is absolutely awesome, and physical and speech therapies are wonderful and helpful. The dining room meals are unbelievable, with excellent service from the wait staff and a welcoming atmosphere. The apartments are well-maintained and the staff are attentive to residents' needs. The overall experience at McCrite Plaza is positive, with a warm, welcoming environment and peace of mind for families.
There were bed bugs everywhere; residents were told to leave their belongings in their car. There were a few grouches among the staff. The head of nursing, Lauren, is outrageously unprofessional.
