The apartments have bugs that no one addresses. The night security is not upfront about managing the door. Someone tried to get into the mom's apartment. The place is not clean and no one cleans it. The place is not a good one. There are fights in the apartments and loud music. Carrie, the property manager, doesn't seem to care and is only there for a paycheck.I'm writing about the place my mom calls home, and it's clear that there are serious ongoing problems that never seem to get fixed. The apartments are plagued by bugs, and no one seems willing to deal with the infestation. It's a persistent issue that has gone unaddressed for too long, and I'm at the point where I'm moving my mom out because the conditions are simply not acceptable.
Security is another major concern. The night security office is not upfront or effective in managing the door, which leaves residents feeling exposed and unsafe. There's a sense of laxity in how things are handled, and it's hard to trust that doors will actually stay secure when people are trying to gain access.
In fact, there was an incident that made this fear very real: someone was trying to get into my mom's apartment. The feeling of somebody attempting to breach her space is terrifying, and it underscores how vulnerable the building seems to be when proper security should be a basic expectation.
Cleanliness is another big problem. It's not clean, and it feels like no one cleans it properly. The neglect is evident, and it contributes to the uncomfortable and unwelcoming atmosphere. When you combine the dirty conditions with pest issues, it's hard to see any real improvement on the horizon.
There's also ongoing noise and conflict within the building. People fight in their apartments and play loud music, creating a disruptive environment that makes peaceful living nearly impossible. The constant noise adds a layer of stress and makes it difficult for my mom to rest or focus on everyday tasks.
About the management, there's a clear sentiment that Carrie, the property manager, doesn't really care. "Carrie the property manager don't care don't check she's just there to get a check that's all." Those words reflect a perception that minimal effort is put into addressing residents' concerns, and that management is more focused on the bottom line than on keeping tenants safe, clean, and comfortable.
Taken together, these issues paint a troubling picture of the place for anyone who relies on it for a home. The combination of pests, inadequate security, cleanliness neglect, constant noise, and a disengaged management team makes it hard to see how this could be a good living situation. Given all of this, moving my mom to safer, cleaner, and more properly managed housing has become a priority, and I want others to know the reality of what we're dealing with here.
