He stopped walking and feeding himself and slept in his wheelchair all day. He was tied to his wheelchair. Staff did not listen when told he showed typical signs of a UTI. The facility should never care for anyone. The monthly charge of $6,000 was excessive for the care provided. They attempted to feed residents hot dogs and chips when they could not swallow. The result was a person who appeared overly sedated, not the active, alert man I knew.
