    Review

The Pines is a highly recommended senior living community, receiving a perfect score of 5 out of 5 from one reviewer. It was even one of the top two choices for another reviewer. The cost and positive feedback from others played a significant role in their decision to choose this facility. While the apartment sizes may be on the smaller side, they are deemed adequate since residents are not typically spending much time in them. The facility does an excellent job offering activities, even during the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring that residents still feel engaged and involved. This reviewer would absolutely recommend The Pines to others.

Unfortunately, during COVID-19, The Pines had temporarily stopped accepting new residents. Despite being their favorite facility, one reviewer had to look elsewhere for their mom's care. However, it was noted as a beautiful facility with desirable amenities like spacious rooms with high ceilings and granite counters in the bathrooms. Additionally, the food was praised for its quality and flexibility with options. Transportation to doctors' appointments is provided, although there is no on-site Bible study or church services.

One reviewer expressed disappointment with the understaffing issues at The Pines and empathized with the residents who may be affected by it. On the other hand, another reviewer mentioned that during their tour of the community, they were impressed by the friendly staff who answered all their questions.

The cleanliness and maintenance of The Pines were consistently praised by multiple reviewers. One reviewer appreciated how well-maintained it was compared to other places they had visited within a similar price range. However, one potential drawback mentioned was that outdoor strolls were not very appealing due to limited landscaping.

Another important aspect for prospective residents is memory care services offered at The Pines. One reviewer admired the shared rooms available in memory care and felt that this community could suit their loved one's needs well.

The administrative staff at The Pines received positive feedback for being helpful and going above and beyond to assist with insurance paperwork. The nursing director even held a training session to ensure that attendants were knowledgeable about caring for specific medical needs. The availability of thinking games like scrabble and trivia were appreciated by one resident's family. However, there were mixed opinions on the food, with some reviewers finding it excellent while others felt it could be better.

The communal atmosphere at The Pines was highly praised by several reviewers. Residents and their families felt welcomed and appreciated the warm and friendly environment. Additionally, the option for residents to create their own schedules and the spacious double-wide bedrooms made this community stand out.

It is worth noting that one reviewer would have preferred more frequent housekeeping services, while others found the community spotless and well-maintained.

Overall, The Pines appears to be a well-regarded senior living community with various amenities, engaged staff members, and clean facilities. It is recommended based on its positive atmosphere, reasonable cost, and accommodating nature towards residents' needs.
