Cons
The community doesn't have 24 hour staff available.

The caregiver would sleep overnight instead of caring for the residents.
Due to no staff, adult diapers were placed on my loved one instead of providing proper assistance.
The staff refused to give showers to my loved one because it was too difficult.
The community wasn't secure for memory care residents.
Lisa has reservations about taking her loved one there due to lack of private rooms available.
There have been a few things which have not worked out exactly like expected, such as the process of getting care services.
Review
Brentwood Elder Care, unfortunately, left one reviewer with a horrible experience. The community lacked 24-hour staff availability and despite numerous conversations with the owner about ongoing issues, they remained unresolved. To add to the frustration, the caregiver who was supposed to be on-site for 24 hours a day would sleep overnight instead of caring for the residents, leaving them unattended. Consequently, adult diapers were placed on some of the residents who couldn't find the bathroom at night due to the lack of staff.
The problems didn't end there. The staff also refused to provide showers for residents deemed too difficult, forcing family members like the reviewer to personally visit the community and give their loved ones showers themselves. This lack of proper care and attention raised concerns about the overall security for memory care residents within the community. These unfortunate circumstances prompted this particular reviewer to move their loved one out of Brentwood Elder Care in search of a more suitable living environment.
On a brighter note, another reviewer offered a contrasting perspective. They commended Brentwood Elder Care's attentive staff who were quick to respond to their loved one's needs and address any questions or concerns they had. The staff was described as friendly and dedicated, creating an atmosphere that made this individual feel comfortable recommending Brentwood Elder Care to others seeking quality care for their loved ones.
However, it is worth noting that this reviewer did mention Brentwood Elder Care being one of the highest-priced options they considered. They also expressed dissatisfaction with how navigating through the process of obtaining necessary care services for their loved one was not as smooth as expected.
In summary, while Brentwood Elder Care receives praise for its dedicated and friendly staff from one reviewer, another paints a picture of a facility that lacks adequate round-the-clock staffing, resulting in subpar care and security concerns for memory care residents. The experiences shared by both reviewers highlight important aspects potential residents or their families should consider when evaluating Brentwood Elder Care as an option.
