The Beehive Homes community is small and quiet, and residents enjoy living there. The family is happy that their loved one is at Beehive Homes. Staff communication with the family has been very good. The staff seem happy to work with the residents. The home/hospice facility is described as caring and compassionate. Each room is private, and the atmosphere feels like a home rather than a hospital. The facility is small enough that residents are not lost in the day's routine. Residents are kept clean and comfortable. There are nice outdoor areas for sitting, and the views out the windows are comforting and pretty. The staff are always ready to answer questions and are kind to family members. Family members can visit anytime and are sometimes able to share meals with their loved ones.
Management appeared indifferent when asked to deal with concerns and did not communicate well with the caregivers. There were no activities in progress. There would only be one caregiver on duty at night for eight plus residents. The resident pressed the buzzer for assistance and waited 30-45 minutes before a caregiver came to their room.
