The new Administrator at San Rafael Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is very nice. The facility has been recently redone, making it much nicer than before. The room at the center is well-equipped with essential furniture and looks fine. Overall, the reviewer is happy with their experience at San Rafael Nursing and Rehabilitation Center so far.
The new Administrator hasn't been able to address all the problems in the facility. There is a high staff turnover in the facility. A recent resident wandered out of the main facility. The staff in the memory unit is described as horrible, unfriendly, and disrespectful towards residents. The witnessed staff was found talking ugly and yelling at the residents in the memory unit. The writer's loved one was considering moving to the memory unit but changed their mind after witnessing mistreatment of residents. Elderly residents should not be yelled at, especially since they are already scared.
