The staff at Westwood Post Acute is incredibly kind and caring, with evident passion for resident care. The atmosphere is welcoming and warm. The kitchen serves great food with a variety of meals. Housekeeping keeps the community clean and inviting. CNAs make residents feel at home. The activities department is exceptional, offering ongoing programs and frequent outings. Nurse Practitioners are attentive, caring, and highly skilled. Administration is effective, with staff and residents expressing trust in leadership. The facility demonstrates excellent teamwork and collaboration among staff. The therapy department has built positive relationships and maintains a great attitude. Residents are happy and satisfied with the care. The new management team has significantly improved the facility; staff and residents seem happier. This place is terrible especially the PT department which is a joke. Not even worth 1 star. They are rude and refuse old residents their personal property. Place is trash! They don't take care of the patients. They don't feed the patients and when they do it's beyond cold. They hold people against their will. This place just needs to be shut down. No bed side manner for any of the patients. I have witnessed the way they talk to patients, treating them like they were nobody. This place is absolutely horrible and treats their clients badly. This company has been reported to the labor board. Bad bad care!!!! The worst place to get care. They kicked out a friend because he needed to go to the hospital. It's just not right how they treat people and wouldn't even feed him hardly? No compassion what so ever!! Please be careful of who takes care of your family members! This place needs to be closed down This was the worst place to be placed, I was left overnight with feces because they didn't know how to do the illeostomy, they accused me of breaking the bag, no help speaks English, they were using babble to communicate with me.
