The staff is amazing. The apartments are easy to navigate, even for someone using a walker. They have someone in the Memory Care center 24 hours a day, so help is just a call away in an emergency. The Executive Director listens to concerns and follows through with what she can do to help. The nurse and aides are very caring and helpful. Windsor Court is a very good place for mom, especially because it's smaller and staff can address individual needs. The facility is well maintained, clean, and cozy with a home-like feel. The memory care staff are professional and approachable, and demonstrate respect and love for all residents. Arbor House has outstanding staff that are amazingly well educated on Alzheimer's. The staff provide topnotch care and clearly love what they do.
Boss kim yelling at a resident trying to get him to sit down, pointing her finger at him, and forcing him to sit on the toilet with her full body weight. Also cutting your hours, never properly trained, poor management, never stocked, always running out gloves, wipes, toilet paper, paper towels, and cleaning products. Expensive when the residents get fed sandwiches or burritos with chips, etc., half the time. Management says they are not there to make friends, a bunch of favoritism, fake acting. Beware! This organization is concerned with money only. If you don't already live here I don't suggest it. The new crew is rude and people's money and pills keep going missing from their apartments. The curve is skewed toward the unpleasant side of the middle in my limited experience. If the resident can't take their own medicine there is an additional charge of several hundred dollars a month.
