Review

After speaking with the Director and taking a thorough tour, my family and I have chosen Barcelona Assisted Living for my mother. Our experience with the Director has been exceptional, as she is incredibly professional and accommodating. She always keeps her phone line open for us to provide updates and stay connected. We have been thoroughly pleased with our interactions so far.

One aspect of Barcelona Assisted Living that stood out to us was the range of amenities they offer. From mani-pedis to regular visits from musicians, the community strives to keep its residents engaged and entertained. Additionally, they have a house doctor and a nurse practitioner assigned specifically to this location, ensuring that medical needs are well taken care of.

The overall atmosphere at Barcelona Assisted Living is warm and inviting, thanks in large part to the friendly staff who go above and beyond for their residents. The facility itself is on the smaller side, but it is evident that great attention is given to maintaining a high standard of care. During our visit, we had the opportunity to enjoy lunch there and were delighted by the delicious food provided.

Regarding accommodation options, my father was looking at a double room which was already furnished with a single bed. While there was a toilet in the room, the bathroom itself was communal. However, assistance with bathing and showering was readily available. For those who require more substantial support, complete assistance can be provided.

Barcelona Assisted Living offers various activities aimed at promoting physical fitness and creative expression among their residents. From exercise classes to arts and crafts sessions, there are plenty of opportunities for engagement within the community. An interesting feature mentioned by staff members was make-your-own-pizza events that seem to be quite popular among residents.

In terms of cleanliness and operational efficiency, Barcelona Assisted Living impressed us greatly during our visit. The facility is kept meticulously clean, creating an environment conducive to health and well-being. Furthermore, it is apparent that the community is run exceptionally well, with a dedicated and passionate staff that genuinely loves their job.

In conclusion, Barcelona Assisted Living has proven to be an excellent choice for our family. While it may be relatively small in size, the exceptional care, amenities, and overall atmosphere make it an attractive option. The dedication of the staff is evident in their commitment to providing top-notch assistance and making residents feel comfortable and cared for. Cleanliness and operational efficiency are also major strengths of this facility. Should my father ever require constant care or need to be behind locked doors, Barcelona Assisted Living would undoubtedly be our first choice. However, for now, we are grateful to have found such a wonderful place for my mother to thrive in her assisted living journey.
