The facility is nice. It is a great place to live with wonderful staff and residents and an awesome location. The grandmother is happy and pleased with the place, and the family feels good knowing this. The staff are attentive, caring, and knowledgeable. Givens Highland Farms is an excellent assisted living facility with attentive, caring, and knowledgeable staff. There are nice folks, a beautiful garden, clean facilities, and good food. The residents are friendly, there are open spaces, and there are beautiful 360-degree mountain views. A foundation for a resident woodshop is underway. The staff and residents are exceptionally friendly and supportive, creating a real community. The mountain views and walkable paths are invigorating. Residents appreciate not having to cook dinner every night, and there are many opportunities to explore. The people at GHF make it special, and the care and kindness are evident.
The place is trash, with awful staff who are mean and condescending to patients, and care that is detestable. The nursing home/rehab area is depressing, with small, ancient rooms that are shared and overpriced, and nothing for a cognizant, ambulatory person to do.
