The family has been pleased with the facility, citing good meals and clean rooms. The staff are helpful and there is good communication at the community. They offer daily activities and keep the community clean. The in-house facility management is highly regarded by the present reviewer.
Most managers became demoralized and eventually left the position with disappointment. We have not seen too much company support for the facility to make available activities for those living there. The cleanliness over the years has been from moderate to good. The dietary schedules have also been from moderate to good. We have witnessed poor care services through several managers. Mom needs more care than they are able to provide for her. The facility was very dirty and understaffed.For the past seven years, we have been associated with a facility that has unfortunately experienced a significant amount of employee turnover. We have come across several facility managers during our time there, some of whom were able to withstand the long hours and lack of support better than others. Initially, these managers would start their positions with enthusiasm and high expectations, only to become demoralized over time and eventually leave the role disappointed. This turnover has hindered the facility's ability to provide consistent care.
One aspect that we have noticed lacking at this facility is company support in terms of activities for the residents. Over the years, there has not been much effort made to make available activities or events for those living there. However, on a positive note, we have found that the cleanliness of the facility has ranged from moderate to good. The dietary schedules, too, have generally been satisfactory.
When it comes to care services provided by the facility, we have seen a wide range in quality. Depending on the specific manager in charge at any given time, we have witnessed care services ranging from poor to excellent. Presently though, we feel confident in expressing our satisfaction with the current in-house facility management team.
On a personal note, our family has been pleased overall with this facility. The meals provided are good in quality and variety, allowing residents to enjoy satisfying dining experiences. Furthermore, the rooms are kept clean and well-maintained by the staff.
However, it is worth mentioning that not every resident has had such a smooth experience at this community. For example, my mom is still adjusting to living here and requires more care than they are able to provide for her. While she appreciates the helpfulness of staff members and enjoys the food offered at mealtimes, she wishes that she could receive more personalized care.
