Jody is amazing. Jody is patient and compassionate, and the staff are patient and caring under her leadership. Jody makes everyone feel important and valued. Jody is a huge asset to the house and its clients, making it feel like home. Any agency would be honoured to have her as an employee. Jody loves what she does, and it shows. The staff at Gates AFC are kind, caring, and attentive. Residents are treated like family and feel well looked after and at home. The facility is nice, spacious, clean, and has great food.

No additional staff were brought in to support the patient. The patient’s clothes and bed linens were frequently soiled with urine and not changed promptly. The patient developed bed sores due to insufficient care. The patient was put to bed by 6:30 pm and left until 8:00 am without changes. The food provided could not be pureed for the patient and substitutions were not suitable for someone without bottom teeth. The facility kitchen was dirty and the bathrooms were unclean and smelled.
