• The majority of the staff are not trained in elder care and have no idea nor skills to tend to the dying.
• He was given two choices - sit by self or isolation and eat in his room. Never mind that he was depressed and then to isolate him away from the other residents was not acceptable.
• We have discovered that the owners do not do background checks on the employees, so that does not give one a sense of security.
• There was going on in regards to medication and resident's personal items.
• On a particular week-end, he was left sitting in his soiled diaper for at least 6 hours as the on-call staff knew hospice would be coming in the afternoon and they did not see the need to clean him up.
• I would never have another family member live in this place. There was no respect and dignity extended to our family during this difficult time.
