They were very good to her and she was never neglected. The facility is clean and well maintained. The staff there are amazing and the home itself is beautiful. Laurel Landmark Nursing Home has won Best of the Best in Kentucky. They have no COVID-19 cases in the building due to proactive early response. Residents enjoy engaging activities and social events, like yard games and cookouts. She loved it there and didn't want to leave. The nurses were very responsive and the care was attentive.
The facility is nasty and bathes residents only once a week. Rooms always smell like urine. Beds are nasty, with pee stains. There were times when a resident remained in a mess for over 30 minutes before staff responded; that is unacceptable. There was urine on the floor that had been there for a while. The facility cares about money and provides poor care; some staff are rude.
